INTERNSHIP ASSESSMENT (12/12/22 - 11/02/23)

K.VYSHNAVI Roll no - 70 PERIPHERALS (ICU, NEPHRO, WARD) Inserted ryles tubes (under Dr.Hari priya Mam) Inserted foleys catheter Drawn blood samples and abg samples Learnt how  to connect and set BiPAP machine(NIV) Saw how intubation is done for a nephro patient (done by Dr.Vinay Sir). Assisted in central line (under Dr.Pavani Mam) Got to know how hemodialysis is done and complications which can occur during dialysis which may leads to sudden death Learnt how av fistula is made and how to connect it to dialysis machine Importance of regular monitoring of patients under dialysis Present in rounds and saw other unit cases and came to know some interesting learning points and also got to know patient may come with one symptom but they may have various other health issues after proper evaluation [some old patients with fluorosis( bone pathology) are undiagnosed generally who come for other health issues] UNIT DUTY Done ASCITIC TAP(under Dr Sashikala Mam) CASE OF 20 YEARS OLD MALE WITH SEIZU
